Our story

A shop the Tri-Cities can trust

Independent since 2024Owner-operated auto and medium-duty truck repair in Kennewick, Washington.

Independent, owner-operated

TC Garage opened in 2024 at 1351 E 3rd Avenue in Kennewick as an independent, owner-operated shop. We work on every make and model: daily drivers, diesel pickups, European imports, work vans, and the medium-duty trucks most shops turn away.

Diagnosed first, quoted in writing

The approach is simple. We test before we replace. A lot of repair bills come from guessing, so we diagnose first, tell you exactly what we found, and quote the fix in writing. Nothing starts until you approve it, and if anything changes mid-job you hear about it before it changes the bill.

Earned one repair at a time

That's how the shop earned a 5.0 rating on Google in its first years: one honest repair at a time. Read the reviews and you'll see the same three things over and over. It got fixed the first time, the estimate matched the bill, and they knew what was happening the whole way through.

Why choose us

What sets TC Garage apart

Straight answers

What's wrong, what it costs, and what can safely wait until next time. In plain language, without the upsell.

Quotes you can plan around

Cost and timing are set up front. If anything changes, you approve it before it changes the bill.

Updates while we work

You'll hear from us during the job, not just when it's time to pick up the keys.

Gas, diesel, domestic, import

Pickups, daily drivers, European cars, work vans and medium-duty trucks. If it's on the road, bring it in.

How we work

From drop-off to keys back

Drop off during shop hours

Monday through Friday. No after-hours key drop, so we can walk through the complaint with you in person.

We diagnose

Codes get read, then the circuit or component actually gets tested. You pay for the fix, not for guesses.

You approve the quote

Parts, labor and timing in writing. Nothing happens without your OK.

We fix it and keep you posted

Updates while it's on the lift, then a walkthrough of what was done when you pick up.

The people under the hood

TC Garage is owner-operated, which means the person who quotes your repair is the person accountable for it. There's no service writer between you and the technician, and no commission on parts.

The shop was set up for the vehicles most places don't want: two-post lifts with the capacity for medium-duty trucks, and the diagnostic and programming tools to finish a repair in-house instead of sending you somewhere else to have a module programmed.

Business is done in English, by phone or text, and every customer talks to the shop directly.

Good to know

Payments & policies

Payment

Cash and cards. Every job is quoted before it starts, so the total at pickup is the total you approved.

Drop-off

During shop hours only. There's no after-hours key box. Call or text ahead if you're running late and we'll work it out.

What we don't do

ADAS camera and radar calibration, safety-restraint (airbag and seat-belt) work, tire sales, and fleet maintenance contracts.
